Collection: Martha Markowsky

Lachine-born artist, Martha Markowsky, is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Artists. She was awarded in 2008 with «le Fil de l’Excellence» by the Arrondissement of Lachine for her achievements in art. In 2009, Martha was awarded the «Grand Prix» for placing 2nd in the CAPSQ’s art exhibition.

She is known for her paintings of symphonies, children in nostalgic backyards playing games, bar room scenes along with the landscapes of Charlevoix and other regions of Quebec. Painting with passion and determination, she continues to capture daily scenes and events.

Martha’s paintings can be found in numerous private and corporate collections, nationally and internationally.
